Placements (S3-S6)
MADE4U IN ML2 offers flexible work experience opportunities tailored to suit individual interests and career goals. Whether it’s for a work experience week or to gain skills for future employment, placements are available within our community centre or with local business partners, providing valuable hands-on experience in a supportive environment.

Nurture Groups (S1+)
Have you seen our purple hoodies in your local high school? We often work with local schools to deliver nurture and support groups. We love helping schools build the confidence of the pupils, create supportive spaces and provide opportunities.

Work Placements (18+)
For those 18+ looking to gain experience and boost their CV, MADE4U IN ML2 offers work placements in a variety of roles. Whether you’re building skills for employment or exploring new career paths, our opportunities—within our community centre or with local business partners—provide hands-on experience in a supportive setting.

High School Lunch (S1+)
These Groups provide a welcoming and safe space for young people during lunchtime at 3 local high schools. Students can relax, play games, and enjoy free snacks in a supportive and friendly environment. The groups offer a chance to connect with others, take a break from school pressures, and access guidance. We help young people feel valued, supported, and encouraged in their personal and social development.

Future Pathways (S1+)
Our Future Pathways Project provides employability sessions in schools and work experience programs, offering a holistic approach to supporting young people. It is designed for those who may not fit into traditional education or employment routes, helping them develop skills, gain experience, and build confidence for a successful future.

Voices of Tomorrow
Voices of Tomorrow is a youth-led podcast where young people discuss topics that matter to them. From mental health and social issues to pop culture and personal experiences, this platform empowers them to share their perspectives, spark important conversations, and have their voices heard in a meaningful and creative way.

Young Volunteers (S1-S3)
Our Young Volunteer Group (S1-S3) provides a dynamic space for young people to develop new skills, build confidence, and take on leadership roles. They help organise events and fundraisers for the organisation, gaining hands-on experience in teamwork and community engagement while growing into proactive, empowered young Volunteers.

Young Leaders (S4-S6)
Our Young Leaders Group (S4+) is a step up from the Young Volunteer Group, giving young people greater ownership over their projects and initiatives. They lead their own events and fundraisers, tackle themes they’re passionate about, and continue developing confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills in a supportive and empowering environment.

Skillz & Thrillz Holidays
Our Summer Skillz and Thrillz Programme offers a jam-packed summer of creative activities and fun adventures. This exciting programme combines hands-on workshops in arts and crafts, upcycling, and other creative skills with thrilling outdoor activities, giving participants the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun all summer long.

High School Outreach Days at MADE4U can provide tailored support across local high schools, from induction days and transition groups to career days and assemblies.
We tackle a range of topics, from navigating tricky subjects to offering career guidance, all with a youth work approach that engages and empowers students.

Children (0-11) & Families

Juniors (P1-P4)
Juniors runs at our centre and is a fun and supportive program for children in P1 to P4, designed to boost confidence, communication, and relationship-building skills. Through teamwork, turn-taking, and emotional literacy activities, children develop essential social skills in an engaging environment. Each session includes a healthy snack and a variety of fun activities such as baking, crafts, STEM projects, and active play.

Seniors (P5-P7)
Seniors runs at our centre and is designed for children in P5 to P7, helping them prepare for the transition to high school. Through engaging activities, they develop social skills, communication, and essential life skills like cooking, meal preparation, and budgeting. Children set personal goals, work towards achievements, and have the opportunity to earn awards. A tuck shop is also available during sessions where the children can buy drinks and snacks.

Holiday (Hunger) Clubs
Holiday Club sessions are held both in the center and at the local park, offering a mix of indoor and outdoor fun. It is a fun and supportive program for primary school children, helping to reduce holiday hunger while providing engaging activities during school breaks. Each session includes a nutritious breakfast and lunch, ensuring children stay well-fed. They take part in exciting daily activities such as baking, crafts, STEM projects, and active play.

Active Play
Delivered at local primary schools, Active Play involves team games, fun activities that get children and young people moving during their lunch break. Active play is very important for children’s physical, cognitive, motor and social development. Children in P1-P7 will have the opportunity to play their own games through child-led games such as tig, colour cone, golden river etc.

DYA (P6-S2)
Through a Dynamic Youth Award, participants will set their own challenge and earn recognition for their achievements! They'll support each other, track progress, and celebrate successes. With guidance from our team, they'll showcase their learning in fun, creative ways. They will be building confidence, leadership, teamwork, communication, and other skills in a supportive environment.

Through this exciting award, children will set their own challenge, track their progress, and support each other along the way. With guidance from our friendly and experienced team, they'll showcase their learning and development in fun and creative ways.

Trips (P1-7)
Summer Trips provide children in the community with exciting opportunities to visit places they may not otherwise experience. From exploring the Science Museum and Transport Museum to enjoying adventure-filled days at Pinkston Water Sports and Flip Out, these trips allow children to discover new environments, try new activities, and create lasting memories.

Family Events
Family Events at Made4U bring the community together for fun-filled themed nights throughout the year. From Scottish-themed celebrations to movie nights, bingo, and games nights, these events offer something for the whole family to enjoy. They provide a great opportunity to spend quality time together, strengthen family bonds, meet new people, and create lasting memories in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Parents & Toddlers (0-3)
Running in the centre, parent and toddler group is a welcoming and fun space for young children and their caregivers to socialize and play. The group (run by Cambusnethan Tenants and Residents) offers a variety of activities, including sensory play, crafts, and storytelling, helping toddlers develop early social and motor skills in a supportive environment. It's a great opportunity for both children and adults to connect and build friendships.

Toy Drive
Christmas Toy Drive is our annual initiative (in Partnership with Pathway Church) to ensure every child in our community has a gift to open on Christmas Day. By providing toys to families in need, we help reduce the financial strain of the holiday season, bringing joy to children and easing stress for parents. This initiative not only helps tackle poverty but also supports emotional well-being, ensuring every child experiences the magic of Christmas.

Befriending (18+)
Our befriending calls run every Monday from 10 AM, offering a friendly check-in and a listening ear. Whether it’s a quick 5 minute chat or a longer conversation, you lead the way. Stay connected, share your thoughts, and enjoy supportive, tailored conversations.
Referrals are welcome from individuals, social work, health improvement teams, and more. Get in touch to explore options!

Walking Group
Join our friendly walking group every Tuesday at 10:30 AM from Westgate, Cambusnethan. We take a relaxed stroll through Greenhead Moss Park—no need to be super fit, just enjoy fresh air and good company! Under 18s are welcome with an adult. A great way to stay active and social.

Community Cafe
Join us at the centre for a warm welcome at our community café! It’s the perfect spot to continue your chat after the walking group, relax while waiting for Sporting Memories, or just drop in to enjoy our weekly special at great prices. Enjoy good food, friendly faces, and a cosy space to connect with others.

Our Community Meal Service offers fresh, homemade meals for just £2, with free delivery within the ML2 area. Enjoy a delicious, affordable meal brought straight to your door, helping you save time and money while staying well-fed. A great service for those in need of convenient, budget-friendly meals!

Community Pantry
Our community pantry offers an annual membership for a small fee, plus just £3 per shop (10 items). Open Thursdays from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, it provides a budget-friendly shopping experience with great savings for the community.
Additional extras are also available to purchase, making every shop even more worthwhile!

Come along to Buzz Club every Thursday from 12:30 – 2:00 PM and enjoy a warm welcome, great company, and a delicious three-course meal—all for just £3.50! (Pre-book before Thursday to secure your spot.)
